Time Machine
Yup, I'm in a freaking time machine to last year. My two main starting pitchers are already hurting, my closer is lost for a couple of months and I still have two years left on my contract.
We are starting just like last year, but without SaME and aLOU.

Polock Joe

careful don't injure your arm there Markie.

Headache?

They don't make pitcher like they use to.
Here we go again. My top two pitchers are feeling pain, oh no. Why can't pitchers today be more like the pitchers in my time. Before high salaries and free agents, pitcher would start and complete games with over 200 innings per year. Now I hear complaints about me leaving them in to long, well excuse me for wanting my starting pitchers to go into the 8th inning. We don't have a good closer, what the hell am I to do? Just because a pitch gets a little sore does not mean he has a major injury. Pitch threw it baby. Maybe I should hire Stoney for my pitching coach, can't stand the guy but at least he agrees with me on this one.
Here are some good old school pitchers:

The Hall is not calling Ronnie
He has gone through so much, I feel for the man. He will never live to see his name in Copperstown. I know he is hurting inside more from this then from all his medical problems. He's got to let it go and forget it. He's got more fans then Joe Morgan. The only thing that would cheer him up more would be the Cubs in the World Series. Well that's my job to do, so that will be my goal for this year, to win one for Captain Pizza.

Look at those legs, man. I bet he can get drunk real fast with Colt 45.

Every day is Santo day.

Happy days in '69.
