Poor Sammy, he can't find a team willing to pay him the big bucks anymore. I hope his bride will stay with him and not take his money and run. Sammy said that he is thinking of getting into the insurance business. Monumental Life is a fine carrier choice, base in Baltimore with offices in the Chicago area.

Drop a line
I know it's been awhile, but I've been hunting and fishing. Pitchers will start next week, so I'm heading for AZ with Dick. I have not been writing much because of the rude reception I received during the Cubs convention in Chicago, you guys don't like ol' Johnnie B much, no not that radio guy from Wisconsin. ME, you don't trusty Dusty any more. Don't worry, I'll get those Tribune cheap asses to sign me up another couple of years, since the Dodgers didn't want me.
Adam Greenberg has not been the same since he got hit in the head and went crying home to mommy, you won't see him on my bench this year. I don't like cry babies. Murton is my main man in Left field, but if he goes into one slump, off to Cleveland with him, just like the loser Jason. Jose is still thinking it over, he does like Sushi.
Well that's it for today, see ya next week.
